Shake Up Your Wake Up! - Healthy Breakfast 2016

Hello everyone! :-) How are you all? Hope you are well and healthy. Yes it has been a while and I have missed you all. Truly I have missed my nutrition world. The reason why I have been absent is because I have been busy with my other job at a lovely children's centre doing outreach work, which I am still currently doing. But today I worked as A H Nutritionist and did a healthy breakfast workshop to celebrate Shake Up Your Wake Up! and I loved it.

Review: E1 Restaurant

This new halal restaurant it's one I have been meaning to try as it serves halal breakfasts, including a full English. I went with my cousin for brunch, we both hadn’t been yet so it was a good chance to go and give it try. I was a little excited to try this new place out, well new to me anyway. Was I happy with my experience….ummmm well….read more to find out why I'm not rushing to go back.

Review: Le Pain Quotidien

It is hard to find a nice place to eat and have good choice of fresh healthy food. So when I stumbled upon Le Pain Quitidien, with the help of my sister, the ‘cafĂ© directory’, I knew I had to write about it and share it with you all. Sometimes side streets are the best places, away from the hustle bustle of the main road and the crowds.

Live Below The Line Challenge 2014

Live Below the Line is an amazing annual challenge where many people live on £1 a day to raise awareness on poverty. Gandhi said – “Poverty is the worst form of violence.” Although, this week wasn’t ideal for me to undertake the challenge due to prior engagements, I did it for one day. And let me tell you it wasn’t easy.

Interactive Health Check

It's important to get a health check regularly and I have not had one in while, so when my mum told me about the machine at the Hackney Service Centre (behind the town hall), I knew I had to go! I went today and here is how it went.

Health Awareness Event: Talks, Demos and Food!

I was invited to host and deliver a talk at a Health Awareness Event organised by NFA Foundation, founded by a lovely sister I met only a few months ago, Nazia Ali. The event was held on Friday 28th March 2014 from 3-6pm.  It was a short yet fun-filled event, gaining invaluable healthy tips from all the health professionals that attended.

Hello and Welcome!

Hello! and welcome to my new blog, I am still new to this, so please be patient and I will get the hang of it soon (hopefully). I wanted to make a proper blog spot to share my journey as a nutritionist with you all. I will be writing about my thoughts, experiences, sharing recipes, news as well as events that I attend.

I had a blog on my previous website before, so I am in the process of transferring all my old posts to this new one. I hope you will enjoy reading them all and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Thank you!

P.S. Any feedback and tips would be much appreciated. Thank you :-)
