To Gym or Not To Gym?

My mum got a 1-day pass for a local gym which was due to expire soon and pushed me to use it, as she wasn't going to get the time to go herself. I have never been to a gym to do a proper workout, I did some classes some years ago with my sister, legs, bums and tums, but that was more for moral support and just something to do together.

Even though warm clothes and layers will help us to keep the cold out we need to make sure we are warm inside as well to keep us well and healthy through this blustery season. Hair and Nutrition

Hair is part of a women’s beauty so you can imagine my horror when I noticed my hair falling out. I noticed that when I comb my hair, more hair than usual will end up on my hair brush, when I wash my hair, my hair would easily slip through my fingers and down  the plughole. I got really worried as my hair has always been nice and thick and didn't want to lose my healthy hair at a ‘young age’.

Just Walk!

Whenever I come back from a walk, I always wished I made more time and did it more often; especially when it the sun is out and weather is nice and warm. I love walking and I want get people walking as well. It’s the most simple and easiest form of exercise and a brilliant way to keep fit and healthy. You don’t need to fancy expensive gadget, just take a bottle of water some good walking shoes or trainers and simple step out and keep going.

RECIPES: Bean burger and Falafels

Being a nutritionist has made me more aware and informed about what is in my food, not only inside my home but outside my home as well. One of my missions is to make healthy alternatives to take away and processed food. My love for fresh food is always growing because I am always finding out about new foods that I may not have heard of, like recently I have been hearing a lot about kale, which I hadn’t heard of until recently (It’s a dark green leafy vegetable, a type of cabbage with many health properties). I still need to try it out!
